Hey Seraphim, it's Greg. I got the data. Comms offered to let me use theirs so I'm going to move down there to work on this stuff. It's level 001 past the huge Stark labs if you want to join.
Hey, uh-- everything alright?
[ he thinks he's just overreacting, but he hasn't seen her since before the jump, so you can never be sure in this place. ]

[Seraphim may or may not have noticed the angel on her shoulder — nope, not Castiel, more the metaphorical meaning behind that. Takeshi promised he'd watch out for her, for Dean. And when Takeshi says he'll do something, he takes it very seriously. With that in mind, every so often, if he's not keeping an eye out for her, he sends her something (trial and error, okay):]
you cant tok but thats o k
if your o k riut 'yes'
if your not riut 'no' I will com rescyu you

[She told him that he ought to ring her or write to her or something if he wants to come over but right now, Sirius doesn't have much patience for that. He honestly doesn't have much patience for anything right now, and he's been avoiding just about everyone--even James, who he never avoids, who he's avoided maybe, what, once or twice since he's known James? Probably that's exaggerated but it's something like that number, anyways--and anyways, what matters is now he's avoiding James, and Remus, and especially Peter Pettigrew--
And he should probably avoid Sera as well, because he's just going to end up saying something stupid, same as always. But for once, he wants to not be alone, just-- for a few moments. Not to feel so bloody helpless. So he goes and sits outside of her door and smokes a cigarette, and if she comes around, so much the better, and if she doesn't-- well, it doesn't matter. He's here.]

[Okay, so: he's sort of done with all his friends right now. Not done, but-- he's tired of thinking about all this, about Peter and the future and what might happen to them all. And he sort of feels guilty about Sera, and what he said about Sirius, so--
--so here he is now, waiting in the Garden for her. He'll make it up with magic and a cup of tea and a walk. Yeah. That'll be good.]

text; been there done that ISN'T THAT WHY THIS ALL STARTED
[When he finishes knocking at Sera's door, Sirius leans against it with a very quiet sigh, pressing his cheek to it. Yes. Okay. For someone that's always prided himself on his innate navigational sense, things have been... strange lately. Being tired--beyond tired, but he's not feeling poetic enough to string some more superior thoughts together--
He drums his fingers on the door with a weak little smile.]
Seeeeeraaaaaa. Are you home.

[Sirius' cool-and-lazy routine is trumped, for once, by his desire to take care of this situation all at once. This is, for him, a pretty prompt response to the situation, after Lucrezia's Christmas demands have been made public. He goes to Sera's room quite soon after and knocks at her door.
And still--as he stands and waits--he's got the feeling that he fucked up. Probably because he did.]

video » watch as elena tries to make things better and instead probably ruins everything
[ when the feed starts up, elena's looking vaguely nervous, but she pastes on a bright -- if apologetic -- smile. she tucks her hair nervously behind her ears and takes a deep breath. ]
Hi, Sera, I'm sorry if this is weird, but, um. I'm Elena Gilbert, I was talking to Sirius earlier, and I just wanted to say -- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes, or get in the middle of you two.
[ not going to mention that he didn't say he had a girlfriend because she doesn't want to make things worse than they already are. ]
If it makes you feel any better, in our case it really was just plain flirting. I have a guy I'm in love with here [ who is missing and has been for a couple days, can you tell how distraught she is? because she is. so very, very distraught. ] and I told him so, I wasn't planning on following through with any of it. It was just a little harmless flirting, nothing more.
I know it probably doesn't feel that way, seeing it so blatant like that, and like I said, I'm really sorry. I won't flirt with him anymore. We'll be strictly friendly.
[ and she's... done? yes? yes. okay please say that speech was effective she doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings!!! ]

[After the mining colony, and the pizza with Cora Hale, and getting chucked out of the bazaar, and coming to be chucked out of various other places on the colony before the Thing That Shall Not Be Spoken Of (That Did Not Involve Severus Snape)...
Where's Sera? The question has been bothering Sirius for some time now--vaguely, and then with more insistence. He's looked in her room (empty but for her nest of blankets and pillows), in the music rooms (also empty), and everywhere he can think to look, all to no avail. And what was once a search without real direction has become something far more intent until, finally, he's more or less given up.
Which of course means he hasn't given up at all. It's just time to be more intrepid. So that's why there's a large black dog running around the gardens now, sniffing at the floor of the false forest, searching diligently and pawing at things and turning over every leaf until, finally, he comes to a stop beneath a large tree. He sits. He looks left, he looks right. He rises to his feet again, scenting at the air like a bold dog in a film. After all, someone has to seek out the girlfriend of Sirius Black, and it's Padfoot the Wonder Dog! Except... he can smell her, but he can't find her. He sniffs at the air again, and turns in a tight circle, to smell that side of the air... and then he sits down, finally, and whines loudly in confusion before he barks.]

I need to see you. [ He's delayed this much too long. ]
Seraphim?
I am sorry, I hope you are feeling better.
I wondered, if you were, if you might help me.
Do... you happen to know how to bake? I am not sure whomelse to ask.
